Hotel Review: Holiday Inn Singapore Little India At Farrer Park

[ad_1]

The hotel Located in bustling Little India, just above Farrer Park MRT station, I checked in for Holiday Inn Singapore Little India (formerly Park Hotel Farrer Park) recently for a stay. It is a 20-storey hotel, with a spacious check-in hall and parking directly connected to the hotel lobby.

Bedroom With 300 rooms equipped with modern amenities, the room category I’m most interested in are the loft-type rooms I’ve stayed in the Premium Queen Lofta 27 m² duplex loft with a separate living area.

My first impression is the high ceiling, which allows plenty of natural light into the room during the day. The bathroom is just off the entry and the queen bed is on the upper deck. The design of the staircase is such that it saves space in the living area.

The upper deck is relatively spacious, although it may not be so practical if you need to use the bathroom in the middle of the night.

The installations There’s a fitness center with an outdoor pool if you need space to work out. The gym is pretty basic, with a treadmill, bench, and a few free weights. The outdoor swimming pool is a good size and, although it is not an infinity pool, it has a jacuzzi where you can also sunbathe during the day thanks to the ample sun loungers.

Restaurant blue jasmine is an on-site Thai restaurant that serves authentic Thai cuisine. This is also the breakfast location for hotel guests, which offers a buffet with a mix of international and local delicacies.

Getting mad Some signs of aging in the property, but the good thing is that there are plans to refurbish the rooms and hotel facilities by this year.

Overall experience If you like loft hotel stays, this property is worth checking out. The central location is another plus, giving you a convenient opportunity to explore the bustling area.
